From its inception in 1935, the FBI National Academy has long been a vital element in the continuing improvement of law enforcement standards, knowledge and cooperation throughout the world. The FBI National Academy and the FBI’s “Field Police Training Program” provide a wide range of leadership and specialized training, as well as an opportunity for professional law enforcement officials to share ideas, techniques and experiences. Over 42,000 students, representing 169 countries, have graduated from the FBI National Academy.
The FBI National Academy Associates, Inc. is a non-profit international organization representing over 18,000 senior law enforcement professionals who have graduated from the FBI National Academy and are dedicated to providing our communities and profession with the highest degree of law enforcement expertise through continuous training and education.
The Alaska Chapter of the FBI National Academy Associates Inc. maintains nearly 100 active members; their mission is to provide the membership, along with their public safety partners with opportunities for continuing education, training, professional development, peer networking, and research in law enforcement disciplines, which promotes improved leadership, cooperation, efficiencies and higher standards of professional conduct in all levels of law enforcement throughout the State of Alaska. The Alaska Chapter of the FBI National Academy Associates Inc. is dedicated to youth outreach and leadership development by offering educational scholarships and no-cost training opportunities.
Our Mission
The mission of the FBI National Academy Associates, Alaska Chapter is to impact communities by providing and promoting law enforcement leadership through training and networking.
